Programs & Activities

Outreach & Service Projects

  • Community Clean-Up Days (50–100 volunteers annually)

Organise teams to tidy parks, streets, and/or public spaces. The charity will organise annual events that will include different suburbs in the ACT. Each year, a group of 50–100 volunteers will be involved. They will spend approximately two to three hours daily over a period of several weeks.

  • Food Drives & Pantries for major occasions (New Year, Christmas, Easter)

Partner with local organizations to collect and distribute food. For three major occasions including New Year, Christmas and Easter, we will collect and distribute food parcels and hampers that will include fresh fruit and vegetables, grocery, and other essentials so that needy people can cook meals for themselves. We will attempt to reach up to 100 families on each occasion. Also, should the need arise, we will organise more food distributions more regularly.

  • Support Groups:

Host gatherings for grief, addiction recovery support and other issues and matters. We will host up to 50 gatherings every year to support members of our community in times of grief and addition to support their recovery.

Education & Empowerment

  • Tutoring & Homework Help:

Support local students with after-school sessions. We will provide after-school tutoring and homework support sessions to assist local students in their academic journey. These sessions will offer a safe and structured environment where children and youth can receive guidance with schoolwork, strengthen their learning skills, and build confidence. We aim to help students reach their full potential and foster a culture of encouragement and achievement within our community.

  • Financial Literacy Workshops:

Teach budgeting, saving, and stewardship. We will host up to 12 workshops each year to equip community members with essential financial skills, including budgeting, saving, debt management, and responsible stewardship. These workshops will empower participants to make informed financial decisions, reduce financial stress, and build long-term stability. By providing practical tools and resources, we aim to strengthen financial wellbeing across our community.

  • Parenting Classes:

Equip families with tools for healthy relationships. We will host up to six parenting sessions each year to equip families with practical tools for building healthy relationships, effective communication, and positive parenting strategies. These classes will provide guidance on managing challenges, strengthening family bonds, and fostering nurturing home environments. By supporting parents and caregivers, we aim to promote stronger families and healthier communities.

Inclusive Events & Gatherings

  • Family Fun Days:

Organise bounce houses, games, BBQs. We will host family-friendly community events featuring bounce houses, games, and BBQs. These gatherings will create opportunities for neighbors to connect, strengthen community bonds, and provide children and families with safe, fun, and inclusive recreational experiences. We plan to hold several events throughout the year to encourage fellowship and welcome new community members.

  • Talent Shows:

Celebrate the gifts of our community with music, skits, and creativity. We will organise talent showcases throughout the year to celebrate the unique gifts of our community. These events will feature music, skits, dance, and other creative performances, providing a platform for individuals of all ages to share their talents. Talent shows will foster confidence, creativity, and community pride while bringing people together in a spirit of joy and celebration.

Sunday School & Community Hall

  • Sunday School & Community Hall:

We will construct a dedicated Sunday School building, Community Hall and other infrastructures required to serve as a central hub for awareness, learning, gatherings, and community events. The facility will host Sunday School sessions, support groups, family fun days, talent shows, tutoring, workshops, parenting classes, school partnerships, and local business initiatives. By providing a versatile and welcoming space, we aim to strengthen community connections, support learning and personal growth, and create a vibrant environment for residents of all ages throughout the year.
